Embarking on a journey with Flickr

Almost 5 years ago, I accepted a full time position as a part of the Flickr Support Team.  Embarking on a professional adventure at Flickr has significantly enhanced my customer support skills, proving that the principles of exceptional service align seamlessly with the world of photography.  This has improved the way I work as a business owner, and how I serve my Today Everlasting Photography clients.

Communication lies at the core of my Flickr experience. Actively engaging with a vibrant community has sharpened my ability to articulate ideas concisely and respond promptly—a skill set crucial in customer service.

Additionally, beyond its professional utility, I enjoy using Flickr as a platform to share my photography. The community serves as a wellspring of inspiration, where I draw ideas from other photographers that fuel my creativity. Engaging with members broadened my network, offering a valuable arena for discussing techniques, sharing insights, and building a sense of camaraderie.  Balancing professional and personal roles on Flickr enriches my experience, highlighting the platform’s importance to me as a photographer and community member.
